When you think of Western Australia there are a few key splendours that pop into your head. With a food scene that’ll really tempt those tastebuds and send them into a wild frenzy, Western Australia is famous for its traditional flavours and culturally inspired goodies. And whilst there’s definitely a lot of multicultural influences in our food too; it’s the local delights filled with fresh tangs that’ll really drive those tastebuds crazy. Served up in range of remarkably unique locations – whether it’s by the beach or nestled in the countryside between wineries or the vibrant city atmosphere, there’s a lot of good grub to be had. To top off your next meal, here are a few local food products you’ve definitely got to try.

For all those nougat lovers out there, Bettenay’s takes this sweet flavour one step further to a mind-blowing honey and almond infused liqueur. Described as “nougat in a bottle”, it’s a super exciting combination of toasted almonds, luscious honey and vanilla and of course – nougat.
